I was figuring out why I can’t get my SE w580i to communicate with gammu/wammu. After some tips, I came to the conclusion that the cdc-acm kernel driver must be compiled - the info in the kernel is a bit.. limited.
So, enable cdc-acm along with other USB stuff, and you should be good to go :)
